I recently spent a delightful four days at Hampi Nature Cottage, nestled in the serene landscape of Hampi, and I must say, it was a breath of fresh air. The location by Bal Hanuman and the nearby Sanpur lake is perfect for those looking to escape the hustle, yet still explore the magical ruins of Hampi. The cottage itself boasts spacious double rooms complete with lovely balconies for that morning coffee experience while overlooking nature. The vibe at the cottage is wonderfully relaxed, enhanced significantly by the friendly staff who are genuinely keen to ensure your stay is memorable. Malto, in particular, went above and beyond-he was my go-to guy, helping me navigate the area and making my solo journey feel far from lonely. They also provide excellent room service, ensuring you can unwind without any hassle after a long day of exploring. For anyone contemplating a trip, just a heads-up about transport: ensure you catch the ferry on time to cross over to the main Hampi side. The chilled communal area is perfect if you're traveling with friends or new acquaintances; it's filled with adorable pets and offers a variety of food options that are too good to resist. Hampi Nature Cottage is the ideal place for solo travelers as well as families looking for that perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and picturesque surroundings. I can't wait to return!
